Prepared for Paris? More than 80,000 professionals from the international packaging and logistics community are expected to be at the trade fair all4pack in Paris from 26 to 29 November. This premium trade and networking event brings you the opportunity to connect directly with RPC Superfos. In 2018, we are hosting an impressive stand together with our sister companies RPC Promens, RPC Bebo and RPC Corby.
Laurent Morel, Sales Director, France, RPC Superfos Region French/South East, and his experienced team of packaging specialists will be delighted to schedule a face-to-face business talk with you. In any event, we encourage you to visit our stand D166 at Exhibition Hall 7 to pick up a few of ideas for your next packaging project.
Pails made from PCR
At our stand, we will showcase a range of convincing plastic packaging solutions, both ready-to-use and bespoke options. Not least, we invite you to familiarise yourself with samples of our versatile pails (for non-food) made from PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) material.
Laurent Morel explains:
“Our PCR pails are exemplary results of the RPC Superfos sustainability approach and strategy. RPC Superfos already uses considerable amounts of plastic waste for non-food packaging, and we will continue to develop more packaging products made from re-circulated plastic waste. It is a resource which is very high in demand.”
Supporting sustainable development
When looking at a life cycle analysis, it is important to note that packaging products from RPC Superfos have a very high recycling value. In this way, it all comes together for continued sustainable development. Further, since the millennium, RPC Superfos has determinedly worked on reducing the average weight of its packaging products. As an example, a 1L yogurt pot is 16% lighter than in 2008 without losing any of its protective properties. This is equivalent to a reduction of 2.5 tons of plastic.
“RPC Superfos promotes recycling and waste control and works hard to protect our environment. It is important, because plastic packaging has become a very visible part of household waste. Our common challenge is to design products and packaging to get goods from production to consumption using the minimum amount of resources and generating the least amount of waste,” Laurent Morel says.
Wouldn’t we be better off without plastic packaging?
Benefit from the all4pack trade fair to engage in a sustainability dialogue with us and ask any packaging questions you may have. You can also take a few minutes to watch some brand new FAQ videos which all address topics of the plastic debate. One of them has this tricky title: “Wouldn’t we be better off without plastic packaging?”
It will certainly be worth your while to visit our impressive joint stand at Exhibition Hall 7 D166. We very much look forward to meeting you!
