Piquant: Spice up the look of our pack

Mayonnaise, marinades and more from British foodservice supplier Piquant now come in a fresh look through a new packaging design.

A modern and contemporary image, while retaining the heritage of our brand. That was essentially the brief from British foodservice supplier Piquant when the company wanted to spice up the branding of their mayonnaise, marinades, dips, dressings and sauces.

The creative agency CLIP has completed the new design and branding project for Piquant whereas RPC Superfos, Oakham, and RPC Promens Consumer, Corby, are the suppliers of injection moulded and blow moulded packaging solutions.

Piquant uses Euroflex pails and PS tamper-evident pails in 10 and 5 litre sizes for their range of mayonnaise and marinades. A multilayer blow moulded Bear jar from RPC Promens Consumer is used for the company’s 2.35 litre salad dressings.

Busy foodservice people need reliable packs
The RPC packs offer the combination of strength and robustness at light weights, easy handling and resistance to denting and shattering, all important benefits in the busy foodservice environment. Piquant’s Sales Director Mike Hooker comments:

The make-over retains Piquant’s familiar oval green logo and is a success. Mike Hooker sums up:
