At the upcoming FoodTech tradeshow, you will meet companies and experts from all sectors of the food industry and get to experience new ways of thinking about food production. Berry Superfos is at Hall M, stand 9740 where you can explore new packaging options. The show takes place on 1-3 November at MCH Messecenter Herning in Denmark.
How to save on natural resources and optimise logistics
The Berry Superfos team is excited to welcome you to our stand. Among the people you can meet is Jørgen Bitsch, general sales manager, Berry Superfos, Region Nordic. He says:
“You should come to the Berry Superfos stand for two primary reasons. First, if you are looking to minimise the use of natural resources to produce your packaging solutions and find avenues to achieve circularity, we have new ground-breaking options available. Secondly, if you want to optimise logistics, both your own and that of your distributors and customers, then we can show you how it can be done – for example, just by changing the shape of your packaging.”
Among the paths to reduce your company’s resource consumption are optimised packaging products available across the entire Berry Superfos portfolio. For example, we develop food packaging solutions in polypropylene (PP) comprising up to 30% recycled plastic (rPP) or renewable materials. These constituents have the same quality as virgin plastics, so your packaging made with recycled materials will be just as strong and appealing as products made solely with virgin materials.
At the Berry Superfos stand, you can also experience packaging solutions with recycled polyethylene (rPET) for several ranges of thermoformed pots and containers.
Optimised weight and shape lead to savings
By choosing packaging that is light in weight, you will use less raw material while optimising transportation and fuel consumption, thereby achieving derived savings.
Over the years, Berry Superfos has achieved significant weight cuts for several product ranges. Most recently, we have developed a new 1 kg version of our UniPak container with reduced weight compared to the popular classic UniPak 1 kg container. UniPak comes in sizes from 120 ml right up to 5 kg in round, rectangular, oval, and square shapes. Another example is our SuperLight™ series which offers a 275 ml - 615 ml volume range in addition to a new 1 kg version which is particularly well-suited for the dairy industry.
If you choose a square or rectangular shape for your packaging, there may even be more benefits since often extra pots can fit onto each pallet. This saves space on trucks, at warehouses and at the outlet where your food product is being sold.
Open for business at Hall M, stand 9740
“Whether resource savings or improved logistics is your goal, Berry Superfos invites you to experience the latest innovation in plastic packaging, including samples of circular and logistics-efficient solutions. We look forward to seeing you at Hall M, stand 9740, for mutually beneficial discussions,” says Jørgen Bitsch.
