From 20 to 23 September you will find RPC Superfos present at the 18th International Packaging Industry Fair in Istanbul, Turkey. Beno Silec, Area Sales Manager for Turkey, RPC Superfos Region South East, is looking forward to the upcoming event. He says:
“It is an invaluable opportunity to learn of new developments, exchange views and discuss any projects you may be considering. Our new facility in Yalova, Turkey, offers state-of-the-art equipment for injection moulding and is ready to produce strong packaging solutions for producers of all sorts, food or non-food.”
Packaging solutions from our facility in Yalova
RPC Superfos Region South East initiated production in Turkey at the beginning of 2011 due to the booming economy in the region. As Turkey is the largest producer of milk and dairy products in the region, it is no surprise that dairy is one of the main segments for the new facility. An example is a packaging for yogurt:
“We recently came up with a 2,3L new customised pail for Turkish yogurt, which we have specifically developed for the Turkish yoghurt market,” explains Beno Silec, who is also responsible for our customers in the Middle East & Balkan. He expects an increased demand for packaging solutions from RPC Superfos, including for the versatile and popular UniPak range.
“In many European countries, the classic, strong and solid UniPak packaging in four different shapes is a favourite, not least among food producers. It is ready at hand and available in many sizes. At the Yalova facility, we produce the 1.2L pot, range Ø133 in a considerable annual quantity for a few Greek customers,” he adds.
Europe-wide RPC Superfos operates from our backbone of eight production facilities and 14 distribution centres so we can optimise your production and logistics efficiency.
Meet us and our solutions
At the packaging fair in Istanbul we would also like to introduce you to SuperLight. This pot is thin, yet sturdy and very suitable for products like sour cream. Another solution not to miss out on is SuperLock, the award winning pot that offers a remarkably long shelf life thanks to barrier protection on all surfaces combined with membrane sealing.
