If you want a new pack with consumer appeal, it would be wise to consider a recently developed alternative for yogurt, dessert or other dairy products in the one-serving size. Today, many of these are 75 mm in diameter and simply sealed with aluminium foil; thereby leaving it up to the consumer to find a spoon for eating the product.
Now you can step up your product and satisfy customers who eat on-the-go with a convenient spoon in the lid, applicable to your 75 mm diameter pots. It is a brilliant solution for any dairy product – desserts included.
Get attention in the display counter
Rikke Justenborg, Sales & Innovation Manager, RPC Superfos Stilling, Denmark, explains:
“The good news is that we have created a lid with a two-piece spoon which matches the widespread and popular small diameter typically used for a pot of yogurt or a chocolate mousse. It is a new spoon-in-lid solution from RPC Superfos with which our customers have the potential to make their products stand out in refrigerated display counters. And, as we all know, getting attention is step one for increased sales.”
User-friendly design with a PET seal
The APET-lid comes with a fine PET seal which is easy to tear off. It is intuitive and there is no need for any user instructions so you can exploit the entire seal for your branding messages with a choice of six colours to work with.
Available with a compartment for topping
Your customers will easily get hold of the foldable polypropylene spoon, assemble it and be immediately ready to enjoy your product on-the-go. A combined solution with both spoon and topping in the lid - muesli for example - is also an option. Consumers will get an ease-of-use experience and are assured a high level of hygiene, as the spoon is kept separately from the topping.
Pick & mix for a beautiful look
The lid is available in any transparent colour of your choice. In this way, you have a wide range of design possibilities to allow the pot, lid and seal to complement each other and create on-shelf impact through an attractive presence.
Low lid height
The new good-looking alternative to the conventional pots has a lid height which is kept to an absolute minimum, creating logistical benefits for you and reducing the amount of virgin material. The pack stacks well both filled and empty. The solution is also available in Ø95 mm.
Please get in touch with your usual RPC Superfos contact for any queries you may have. We look forward to assisting you with this exciting new pack.
