If you are a food industry professional, you may have the bi-annual trade fair event FoodTech 2018 in your calendar. Are you coming? Superfos cordially invites you to visit our stand M9666 from 13 to 15 November, in Herning, Denmark.
Plastic stands tall in the value chain
If you want to improve your logistics and create increased consumer preference for your food products, please do come by our stand so we can discuss which of our innovative packaging solutions best matches your needs and line of business. In addition, do not hesitate to ask us general questions or make comments in respect of plastic packaging and sustainbility.
Jørgen Bitsch, General Sales Manager, Superfos Region Nordic, says:
“Plastic is getting a lot of attention currently, and that is why it is essential to recall the many merits of the material. Plastic packaging is vital for the food industry as it keeps costly food products safe, fresh and tasty. Because it is lightweight and durable, it is perfect for shipping food products in the global trade. So, for the circular economy and for a more sustainable future, innovative plastic packaging solutions are indispensable.”
Part of ‘Forum for Circular Plastic Packaging’
Though the positive aspects of plastic are numerous, Jørgen Bitsch points out that on a general level the challenge is to handle plastic correctly after use. Re-circulated plastic waste is a resource which is very high in demand and, importantly, our environment must be protected.
In this connection, Superfos Region Nordic contributes in several ways, including as an active player in the Danish innovation project ‘Forum for Circular Plastic Packaging’. Under the scope of the Forum, Superfos works to harmonise and streamline the sorting and collection of plastic waste.
Welcome to the future of the food industry
The official event title of FoodTech 2018 is “Welcome to the future of the food industry”. Rest assured that Superfos will be present in the future − and at the trade fair. See you soon at stand M9666.
