From 24 to 26 September, the German city of Nuremberg hosts the packaging tradeshow FachPack 2019. You will find Superfos, a company of Berry Global, among the exhibitors, actually at the very same place as last year. However, now we are displaying a re-branded tradeshow design, following the acquisition of our former parent company, RPC Group by Berry Global, Inc.
Look for the Berry blue colour and find your usual service-minded Superfos team at Hall 7 – Stand no. 7-551. The tradeshow booth includes an inspirational display along with expert advice from Superfos, Bebo, Bramlage, Promens and M&H.
Recycling plastic is important to everyone
At our tradeshow booth, you will find samples of top-quality pails made with PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled material). These are hands-on examples of how well plastic fits into the circular economy.
Uwe Zinnert, Sales and Marketing Manager Germany, Superfos, says:
“We do look forward to meeting many familiar faces and some new ones at FachPack 2019. It is a great opportunity to discuss plastic, sustainability and recycling. Our customers should know that for non-food products, we primarily use post-consumer and post-industrial recycled PP and up to a very high level. For most non-food products we are − at a minimum − able to deliver a 30% share of recycled material; the share which will be required by the UK government. In some cases, we can deliver much more. Rest assured that Superfos never compromises on quality and mechanical properties.”
The Circular Grading Tool
At our stand you can also learn about the Circular Grading Tool. The tool provides a visual representation of how recyclable a piece of plastic packaging is, on a scale from A to F – and shows other relevant indicators, too.
“The Grading Tool helps to evaluate packaging designs in light of circular economy principles. We are happy to share our massive experience and knowledge in the field with our customers and FachPack visitors,” says Uwe Zinnert.
Meet a Best Label Design Winner
Another reason for you to visit our stand is for a chance to see samples of the Heinz tomato soup pot decorated with an award-winning In-Mould Label. In early summer, it was singled out for a Best Label Design Award issued by IMDA, the In-Mould Decorating Association in the United States. The award recognises the technical capabilities and properties of the IML-solutions used by Superfos in collaboration with Korsini SAF, our label provider based in Turkey. Come by the Superfos stand and explore the great design, the vivid colours and the flawless label quality.
Whatever packaging proposal, idea or question you may have, you are cordially invited to visit Superfos at FachPack 2019. See you soon!
