French factory keeps it up: outstanding standards

The La Genête factory of Superfos, a Berry Global company, features high standards of quality, hygiene safety and environmental management. This was recently confirmed when the site obtained yet another BRC certification with an outstanding AA rating and other achievements.

High standards of hygiene, quality, safety and environmental stewardship - this without doubt describes the Superfos La Genête factory in France. The site has just, very successfully, completed an audit in respect of the BRC Global Standard High Hygiene Category and, for the fourth time in a row, the factory received a remarkable Grade AA.

On behalf of both customers and employees, Factory Manager Sébastien Morey is pleased:

“This is very positive both for us and our customers. In an instant, the BRC certificate confirms that we are a reliable packaging provider complying with a range of high standards in terms of quality and hygiene.”

800 days without a reportable accident
In addition, the site at La Genête holds a new noteworthy safety record: more than 800 days without a reportable accident. Another great piece of news is the recent ISO 9001/14001 re-certification, documenting a holistic approach to policy, plans and actions regarding the environment. It was achieved with an impressive “0 non-conformities”.

“These are all very good results based on outstanding team effort. We have every reason to be very proud of our dedicated employees here. However, we will not rest on our laurels but keep up the good work to remain on top of high standards for the next audit at our factory,” Sébastien Morey says.
