Now 16% lighter
In the array of packaging solutions from RPC Superfos you will find several which are especially lightweight – and we keep progressing. Since the beginning of the millennium, RPC Superfos has determinedly worked on reducing the average weight of its packaging products. As an example, a 1L pot for yogurt has become 16% lighter since 2008 without losing any of the protective properties of the pack.

In general, plastic packaging products are significantly lighter than the ones made from traditional packaging materials and lightweight packaging positively impacts transportation – both concerning the environment and the economy.

PolypropyIene and nothing else
Did you know that predominantly all the packaging products from RPC Superfos are produced solely from polypropylene (PP)? This means they have a very high recycling value, something which is becoming increasingly important in view of creating a circular economy. Further, some of our containers are partly made from PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled Material Plastic).
