A taller pack with more branding space. A more vibrant look and a better finish. This is how Marketing Manager Jules Ang from Al Wefag in Saudi Arabia describes the key advantages of the packaging solution UniPak from RPC Superfos compared to the one the company previously used.
Al Wefag is the top producer and distributor of quality packaged snacking products in the Arab region and all over the world. For their gummy candy series sold under the brand Borgat, Al Wefag is now applying two types of the UniPak tub: a small, square tub 89 x 89 mm and a square family size pack with a handle, 129 x 129 mm. Both versions have a transparent lid so that the content is immediately visible at the store.
Quality as common denominator
The candy is targeted on both children and adults. It is widely popular and probably, the new packaging will increase its popularity. Though the candy in UniPak has only recently been put on the market, Marketing Manager Jules Ang says that feedback from distributors is encouraging and that the packaging underpins the quality of the content:
“Our sweets are of a very high quality and through the new pack we have found a great ambassador for our gummy candy. The pack is the first to meet the eye of the consumer, so the look is crucial, and the UniPak tubs represent our quality standards in the best possible way.”
Creating a family image
The display surface of UniPak makes it possible to show your brand in a razor sharp, eye-catching manner with a family image for a variety of sizes and shapes. This was an attractive option to Al Wefag.
“We are so pleased with the result that we are motivated to further improve our packaging portfolio and replace existing solutions with new ones from RPC Superfos. Also, all along the process we have felt very well treated by their attentive and flexible team,” Jules Ang states.
