A single coating of paint is enough to change the look of your rooms. This is one of the many good selling points of the new paint range from Tollens, l’esprit libre. It lets you explore colours in an easy way and is absolutely versatile: it can be used for walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture, objects and radiators – practically anywhere in your home, including wet rooms.
Opening without tools
The paint is sold in plastic containers from RPC Superfos – the new Paintainer - and there is a connection between the qualities of the paint and the qualities of the packaging. While the paint is easy to use and gives an impeccable result, the packaging is easy to handle and looks good, too.
Estelle Wallich-Petit, Raw Material and Packaging Purchasing Manager for Tollens, says:
“The most outstanding advantage of the Paintainer packaging solution is the innovative lid that makes it very easy to open and close. On top of this excellent functionality, the container has an elegant and feminine look.”
Customised lid meets the needs
The paint l’esprit libre comes in two sizes: 2,5L and 0,5L. The big container has a black lid, a black ring and a black handle and this look adds values to the product on shelf.
“It was important for us to create an integrated look between the two sizes of the paint packaging and we are happy about the result. For the smaller size, we wanted to put a small sticker with a colour indication on the lid which was not possible before. Now, with a new lid designed by RPC Superfos, we can have it our way and put the sticker on the lid automatically.”
The lid was customised to meet the requirements of the paint producer who describes the collaboration with RPC Superfos as a partnership in all the good senses of the word.
l’esprit libre in the new Paintainer is sold through the giant DYI chain in France Castorama targeting the private market.
