The world’s biggest trade fair for the international pet industry is on its way: Interzoo 2016. RPC Superfos will be at stand No. 423 Hall 4A showcasing a wide-ranging selection of innovative packaging solutions for pet foods.

At Interzoo 2016 in Nuremberg from 26 to 29 May, RPC Superfos will showcase a selection of great packaging and storage containers for pet food pellets - from small to large, round to square, and with many options for colours, inserts and dosage cups.

LongLife™ is for wet pet food
A highlight is the innovative LongLife™ pack for wet pet food. It is a small, square, rigid plastic pack forming an excellent alternative to the commonly used aluminium tray. LongLife™ is suitable for autoclave. It has UV light barrier protection and an oxygen barrier for extended shelf life. The 115 ml size is perfect for single serve meals and your customers will enjoy that the pack is re-closable: in case of any left-overs the lid will prevent odour transmission in the fridge.

Matthias Scheller encourages pet food producers to let plastic packs cover their packaging needs:

HalfMoon™ is full of benefits
At Interzoo RPC, Superfos also showcases a big pail in an ergonomic shape called HalfMoon™. The half-moon shape means that the filled pail actually feels lighter as it is ergonomically carried underneath the shoulder – making it ideal for pet food pellets. A bespoke version of this pack received a WorldStar 2015.

From the RPC Superfos range
The RPC Superfos range for pet foods comprises the versatile UniPak which is available in numerous volumes (ranging from 120 ml to 5000 ml) and several shapes - round, rectangular, oval or square. It is also widely used as a measuring cup.

The SuperCube® container is a square or rectangular pack which is also available with a two-compartment insert – perfect for pet owners who want to serve pet food and fresh water all in one go. In the SuperLift® range all-round lid types fit several volumes. Among the smaller packs is the RingLock® series, which withstands hot filling.
