SuperLock® has a chance to get a Packaging Award; a seal of excellence which rewards efforts in the fields of research, innovation, efficiency and inventiveness.
RPC Superfos is in the running for the solution SuperLock® - because it is innovative and a result of intensive research, development and testing. The light weight plastic container is available with barrier protection on all surfaces of the packaging and it is also membrane sealed. The combination of the two properties ensures an almost non-existent oxygen transmission. It means that convenience food can stay on shelf twice as long – or even three times longer - than in reference packaging. Further, it offers eye-catching decoration options and is very user friendly, not least because of the twist-off screw-on lid.
Holds many awards
So far, SuperLock® has received no less than five international awards, most recently an iF packaging design award 2012.
For the Packaging Awards at Salon Emballage, 52 nominees have been selected out of a pool of 108 entries. The Award runs in four sections each with several subsections. Material, Consumer, Production and Environment; SuperLock® is nominated for a Packaging Award in the Consumer Goods Section in the subsection Foodstuff.
Innovative capabilities
The purpose of the prize-giving is to highlight packaging and the packed goods that stimulate the dynamics of the business and that demonstrate innovative capabilities.
“Having made it through to nomination is in itself an important recognition. The race is close and we are proud to be part of it,” says Regional Sales Director, Laurent Morel from RPC Superfos Region French. He keeps his fingers crossed for a Packaging Award for SuperLock®.
The winner in each section will be revealed on 19 November 2012. During Salon Emballage, RPC Superfos will be represented at Hall 6 Stand M 108.
