The warmer months are coming along in Europe and in pace with rising temperatures, the sale of ice cream increases. In Luxembourg, the frozen yogurt from Luxlait, will most likely be a hit again this year, sold in the stylish EasySnacking™ pack from RPC Superfos. Including a lovely spoon in the lid, the pack makes eating on-the-go an indulgent experience.
A pleasant treat in a beautiful pack
The delicious frozen yogurt from Luxlait comes in three different flavours: Peach & passion fruit; strawberry; and caramel with salted butter and pecan nuts. The series has a creamy and light texture and offers the same pleasant treat as ice cream, yet with less calories. For each flavour there is a matching coulis: caramel, strawberry or passion fruit.
Jérôme Lejeune, Purchase Manager at Luxlait, explains why the company selected the EasySnacking™ pack:
“We chose the EasySnacking™ pot because we were intrigued by the general look and feel of it. It conveys something modern and young and even has a dash of ergonomic design because it is so soft and smooth. Further, we appreciate the integral, organically formed spoon which is quite solid and therefore perfect for scooping frozen yogurt.”
The icing on the cake, according to Luxlait, is the transparent lids in amazing colours, one for each flavour, which lets the end-user get a glimpse of a beautiful pattern from the coulis on top of the frozen yogurt.
“Sales have surpassed our expectations and part of our success lies in the packaging. We have been working with RPC Superfos for more than 15 years now and know the company as a serious packaging supplier who regularly visits us and presents new packaging ideas to us. The idea of using EasySnacking™ was spot on,”
Jérôme Lejeune says.
Reaches out to a broader segment
Frozen yogurt from Luxlait was initially targeted at the younger customer segment, but in fact the product is to the liking of a much broader segment. Luxlait is currently working on adding two new flavours to the series of frozen yogurt, namely vanilla and raspberry.
Multi award-winning
EasySnacking™ has received a FPA Product Innovation Award 2016 from The Foodservice Packaging Association, UK and was also appointed finalist in the category “Best convenience on-the-go packaging” of the World Food Innovations Awards 2016. Further, the pack holds a Scanstar Award from the Nordic packaging competition of the same name.
