Bigger selection in the wider Balkan region

The company Helioplast, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has recently become part of the RPC Superfos cluster. Thanks to our new local presence, our customers in the wider Balkan region will enjoy easier contact and a bigger selection of products and services.

In December 2013, the RPC Superfos cluster was enlarged through the acquisition of the company Helioplast, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Helioplast manufactures and sells open top filled injection moulded plastic packaging within the consumer food segment and is known for its in-house mould-shop.

There is a strong complimentary fit with the Superfos cluster. Customers in the wider Balkan region will experience that we come within easy reach and will provide a larger selection of rigid plastic packaging solutions.

René Valentin, CEO and Cluster Manager of RPC Superfos, explains:

Helioplast is a leading provider in its field to the Bosnian and Croatian market and employs 80 employees. The company was established in 1979 by the father of the current Managing Director Suad Helic, whose areas of responsibility for the business will remain unchanged.
