Place your brand in the left corner, make the decorative ribbon bigger, shuffle around the drawings, and insert a picture. Or undo the whole layout and start over. A new online concept makes this possible at low costs, and within fractions of the time normally spent for creating the right artwork for your product packaging. It gives you an important competitive advantage in terms of time-to-market.
Select, create and share
RPC Superfos has been involved in the development of the new concept called TurnAvisual and a selection of the RPC Superfos packaging solutions will be available in the virtual toolbox. Product Designer Dorte Cetti, RPC Superfos, sees a great potential in this visualisation tool and explains:
“The key benefit of working with our packaging in TurnAvisual is the immediate sharing of artwork ideas through the online platform. Essentially, you select a blank packaging which appears on the screen in 3D, all in white. The designer then works in a 100 per cent digital process to create the artwork to the likings of the decision makers. All parties involved in the process can take a look, share their views, give feedback and work together to create the perfect result.”
Create your own packaging space
An advanced database is available to keep track of your artwork process. Also, with TurnAvisual, you may create your own packaging space with only your products. There is a private library with preferred packaging, in fact a shop-in-shop, and the designer gets the opportunity to see and work on a larger selection of RPC Superfos packaging.
Online mock-ups replace physical samples
It only takes a few minutes to create a turnable mock-up in 3D of the entire packaging. This allows decision makers, designers or even focus groups to quickly evaluate the result. TurnAvisual renders physical samples, shipment and waiting time superfluous.
“We expect the new artwork design option to be a door opener for more creativity in the way we and our customers work with the look of their products on shelves. It is very easy to use, and I am confident that the new tool will bridge the gap between the various contributors to packaging development, while at the same time speeding up time-to-market and saving costs,” says Dorte Cetti.
