Refrigerated Foods Association (RFA) hosts an annual conference and exhibition uniting manufacturers of prepared, refrigerated food with packaging providers. The event takes place from 1 to 4 March 2015 in Carlsbad, California, and RPC Superfos is among the exhibitors to showcase a range of packaging product lines. Terry Sullivan, President, RPC Superfos US Inc., comments:
“RPC Superfos offers food producers high-quality packaging solutions with plenty of space for displaying their brand. For refrigerated foods like dairy products, wet salads, soups, sauces and dips, we offer ideal packs with high-tech in-mould labelling which ensures impeccable graphic finish anywhere on the pack, including the lid. It matters to us how our customers’ products look in our packaging.”
At the RFA Exhibiton unique product lines from RPC Superfos such as EasySnacking™, UniPak, SuperLift® and SuperLock®will be on display.
EasySnacking™ for meals to-go
Especially developed for food on the go, the pack EasySnacking™ is a handy, elegant and innovative solution, perfect for dairy products or desserts. In this 210 ml pack, your refrigerated foods can be enjoyed straight from the shelf as the spoon is in the lid. The spoon is in one piece, has a soft shape and is easy to get hold of. Later this year RPC Superfos launches a bigger version of the EasySnacking™ pack that holds 300 ml. It has a higher lid leaving room for both a spoon – and your customers’ favourite topping.
UniPak and SuperLift in various sizes
Another convincing packaging solution is the UniPak series, that has integrated tamper evidence as a standard feature. UniPak is available in a round shape Ø118 mm and square 195x195 mm. There are various volumes: For the square, they range from 3 lb to 10 lb and for the round from 8 oz to 32 oz. Combine the UniPak series with its sister series SuperLift®, for instance a pail Ø198 mm with a volume of 105 oz or 128 oz, and you will get an enlarged packaging family with the same image regardless of the size.
SuperLock® with barrier labels
The SuperLock® pot has barrier labels that in combination with membrane sealing provide for a practically non-existent oxygen transmission rate. The twist-off screw-on lid is easy to use and makes a reassuring click-sound when you close the pot – just like a traditional jar.
If you have not already contacted us, feel free to reach-out to Terry Sullivan, President, to schedule some time during the conference to see what RPC Superfos can offer that is missing today in your packaging portfolio. It would be so cool to see you!
