A range of unique product lines from RPC Superfos are on display at IPACK-IMA taking place from 19 to 23 May 2015 in Milan. Antonio Fallanca, Area Sales Manager, Italy, Region South East of RPC Superfos, says:
“At our stand, you will find packs that lead to extended shelf life, convenience and optimum brand display - and many other advantages. Our innovative packaging solutions add value to the product of our customers, whether food or non-food. RPC Superfos employs market leading technologies to create attractive packaging in every sense of the word.”
Eat me straight from the cold counter
Examples of innovation include the handy pot EasySnacking™ which accommodates to the need of eating on-the-go: The lid contains a spoon, which is smooth, softly shaped and extremely easy to get hold of. It is also in one piece so there is no need for bothersome assembling. EasySnacking™ is available in two sizes (210 ml and 300 ml), the bigger one has room for a crunchy topping in the lid.
Practically no oxygen transmission
Extended shelf life under ambient temperatures is possible with the high-tech oxygen barrier solution applicable both for B2B and B2C products. The food service industry can benefit from this feature in the containers SuperLift® and SuperFlex®, while SuperLock® is the right choice for food products targeted at the end-user. SuperLock® comes in several sizes and has a twist-off screw-on lid for added user convenience. The packaging solution has won numerous international awards and a bespoke version of the pot was honoured with a WorldStar 2015.
Swap the aluminium tray with plastic
For pet food producers, the trade fair offers the opportunity to learn about LongLife™, the innovative pack for wet pet food. Antonio Fallanca explains:
“LongLife™ creates product differentiation and is suitable for autoclave - a perfect alternative to the widespread aluminium tray. This square plastic pack was handpicked for the PACK INNOVATION AREA at Emballage 2014 in Paris.”
Ultra-light and ultra-strong
Also on display is SuperLight™, a thin wall packaging (TWP) solution that is particularly suitable for dairy products. It is sturdy, but ultra-light and as such it considerably reduces the need for virgin PP. SuperLight™ is available in three sizes; 275 ml, 405 ml and 615 ml. Moreover, RPC Superfos showcases TWP packaging solutions for paint in the form of oval pails, 3 litres and 18 litres.
Perfect for paint
Popular among professional painters and DIY-painters alike, the leak-free Paintainer® plastic pail is a convincing solution which has received several awards for its outstanding qualities: it offers paint producers superb options for eye-catching decorations and brand display, efficient storage and easy transportation. The container can be opened and closed without the use of any tool at all.
Award winning HalfMoon™
Another intriguing solution from RPC Superfos is the HalfMoon™pail - shaped like a half moon. It offers plenty of space for branding and many exciting options for shop display. It also has ergonomic benefits:
“When you carry the HalfMoon™ pail with the flat side against your body, the weight of the content will feel less heavy. The pack caters for the needs of many different segments, including foodservice products and non-food products,” Antonio Fallanca points out. A customised version of the HalfMoon™ pack for pet food pellets received a WorldStar 2015.
According to your particular needs
RPC Superfos excels in bespoke projects and the IPACK-IMA is an ideal forum to discuss any project you may have with Antonio Fallanca and his team. RPC Superfos offers the possibility of having moulds tailor-made in-house.
“It is a pleasure to tailor a pack to the exact need of a customer. We have a long track record demonstrating massive experience in this field and are always keen on delivering the perfect result,” he says.
Create artwork online
At IPACK-IMA you can also arrange an appointment with Antonio Fallanca to learn about the online 3D artwork tool TurnAvisual which makes the creation of artwork design much easier and quicker than doing it the traditional way.
Two times WorldStar 2015
RPC Superfos will formally receive two WorldStar 2015 awards at the Awards Presentations Ceremony on Tuesday 19 May in Milan: One for HalfMoon™ and one for the bespoke SuperLock® for sliced salami.
