For the very first time, the CFIA exhibition for the food processing industry is coming to Toulouse in the southwestern part of France – an area that is famous for its brilliant gastronomy and a major hub for the food industry. The exhibition takes place from September 20-22, 2022, in the MEETT Toulouse Exhibition and Convention Centre where Berry Superfos is ready to welcome you at stand F130.
Nicolas Le Saux, Area Sales Manager, Food, at Berry Superfos, says:
“We are excited to meet you at CFIA in Toulouse to present new ideas and optimised food packaging solutions to help your company obtain its sustainability goals. For example, we have several new solutions designed for light weight, efficient logistics as well as circularity – results obtained by combining Berry’s advanced engineering skills with proprietary production processes,” says Nicolas Le Saux, Area Sales Manager, Food, at Berry Superfos.
Are you transitioning to circularity?
The use of recycled and renewable materials for food packaging requires an ISCC PLUS certification which many Berry Superfos facilities throughout Europe have already obtained.
For example, Berry Superfos offers you solutions in polypropylene (PP) made from recycled plastic (rPP) or renewable materials. These constituents have the same quality as virgin plastics, so your packaging made with recycled materials will be just as strong and appealing.
You will save energy and valuable resources with lightweight packaging
An easy to improve the sustainability of your packaging is simply to reduce packaging weight – for example by choosing the SuperLight™ pot range. As its name suggests, SuperLight™ is light in weight, so it needs less raw material while optimising transportation, logistics and fuel consumption. The SuperLight™ series offers a 275 ml - 615 ml volume range in addition to a new 1 kg version which is particularly well-suited for the dairy industry.
Another reason to stop by the Berry Superfos stand is to experience one of our most versatile solutions – UniPak – which we present in a new 1 kg version with reduced weight compared to the popular classic UniPak 1 kg container. UniPak comes in sizes from 120 ml right up to 5 kg in round, rectangular, oval, and square shapes.
Great packaging reduces food waste
Food waste prevention may be another of your sustainability priorities. If so, it is crucial to choose freshness-preserving packaging. All Berry Superfos solutions for food products offer this property, but particularly when you choose packaging which features our innovative oxygen barrier solution enabling you to keep your oxygen-sensitive products fresh for longer.
Cheers – for your beverages in reusable cups!
At the Berry Superfos stand, we are also displaying our new reusable beer and soft drink cups, the SuperCup range which caters to the ban in France on single-use cups. This gives you a trend-setting solution that is at least 30% lighter than the market standard for reusable beer cups. The SuperCup is both washable and stackable, plus it can be attractively customised with your branding.
