The former Europack Euromanut CFIA exhibition is now Prod&Pack, an event which encompasses the entire packaging ecosystem. It is being held on Nov. 16-18, 2021, at the Eurexpo Lyon exhibition centre.
At the Berry Superfos stand, you will get to experience a broad range of quality plastic packaging options developed with sustainability in mind for both food and non-food industry. Clarisse Guerin, Area Sales and Key Account Manager, Non-Food, says:
“We look forward to meeting you at Prod&Pack and sharing our news with you – particularly concerning sustainability which is an important focus area for us. For example, we present solutions which are easy to recycle, use low amounts of base material and integrate recycled materials as part of the raw material mix. Our packaging solutions can help to boost your sales because of their high quality and decoration options which will make your products stand out.”
Up to 80% recycled material for non-food products
Come by our stand and see for yourself how Berry Superfos works to improve the sustainability of packaging solutions and excels in quality. For example, we now offer several of our most popular non-food industrial packaging series with 30 to 80% PCR (post-consumer recycled material) and made solely of one material – in this case polypropylene (PP) – which makes recycling easy. It is a good example of how packaging can be a part of the circular economy.
New recycled packaging solution for food products
Thanks to leadership in innovation, Berry Superfos can now offer customers in the food industry a pioneering circular packaging solution: packaging in polypropylene (PP) made from recycled plastic or biobased material, for example frying oil waste, with the same quality as virgin material.
Previously, recycled material that was in direct contact with food products was unthinkable due to food safety and hygiene requirements but now, with the new Berry Superfos solution, it is a real option.
Berry Superfos facilities throughout Europe hold the necessary ISCC PLUS certification. Your production facility will likewise need an ISCC PLUS certification if you want to use recycled material for your food product packaging. Please come to our stand at the exhibition and we will be happy to discuss this in detail with you.
Another strong feature of food packaging solutions from Berry Superfos is that they contribute to the reduction of food waste. For oxygen sensitive food products, Berry Superfos offers an innovative oxygen barrier solution keeping your food products fresh for longer.
Lightweight means optimised transportation
In addition, at the Berry Superfos stand, you can experience the SuperLight™ pot range which offers inherent benefits to minimise the use of resources. Because SuperLight™ is lightweight, it optimises transportation, logistics and fuel consumption. We have recently added a 1 kg version to the existing 275 ml – 615 ml volume range. The 1kg version is, for example, particularly well-suited for the dairy industry for yoghurt.
Another solution you can experience at the Berry Superfos stand is our wide ranging UniPak series which comes in sizes from 120 ml right up to 5kg and is available in round, rectangular, oval and square shapes. Our new 1kg version of this container offers a reduced weight compared to the classic UniPak 1kg container. We have obtained this weight reduction by the use of compression moulding.
A new reusable SuperCup for the beer and soft drink industry
For all brewers, soft drink producers and beverage distributors, there is also good news from Berry Superfos at Prod&Pack. We will present our new series of reusable beer and soft drink cups, the SuperCup range. It is a game changer in the reusable beer and soft drink cup market offering a lightweight solution which is least 30% lighter than the market standard for reusable beer cups. The SuperCup is both washable and stackable, plus it can be attractively customised with your branding.
See you at Prod&Pack
