The new range satisfies market needs for competitively priced, fast-delivery standard products. According to research carried out by NielsenIQ on behalf of the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), in 2023 consumers increasingly switched to private label products, which now account for 38.5% of the European grocery market.
The 35 products in the Berry SmartValue range comprise a choice of bottles, jars, containers, closures and dispensers across four key end-markets – food, beverage, personal care and homecare. All are available at competitive prices at low MOQs (minimum order quantities) and offer short lead times, enabling companies to quickly bring their latest offerings onto retail shelves.

The range also recognises retailer and consumer demands for more sustainable packaging. The packs are predominantly mono material solutions produced in polypropylene or PET, both of which are recyclable and widely recycled in many European countries. In addition, packs can be manufactured incorporating post-consumer recycled (PCR) material.
