The Eurocoat tradeshow will take place in Paris, from March 29-31, 2022, targeting the paint and coating industry. The tradeshow’s overall topic is “Coatings: From Innovation to End of Life Cycle”, so the PCR range from Berry Superfos is spot on for the event.
PCR is short for post-consumer recycled material; a valuable resource and, if treated correctly, can be transformed into attractive versatile plastic packaging. Berry Superfos is doing just that.
A strong range with post-consumer recycled material
At the Eurocoat tradeshow, Berry Superfos will be showcasing a series of top-quality PCR pails in many shapes and sizes including popular containers such as Paintainer®, SuperCube®, SuperLift® and SuperFlex®. All PCR pails can be decorated with In-Mould Labelling in a range of colours.
Clarisse Guerin, Area Sales & Key Account Manager Non-Food, Berry Superfos, Region South, is pleased to explain the advantages of a sustainable pail with recycled plastic:
“The PCR range from Berry Superfos is perfect for paint, coatings, building materials and more. We offer a minimum of 30% PCR (post-consumer recycled) material for most containers in this range. In many cases we can offer an even higher PCR content, depending on the application. In close collaboration with our customers, we make sure that the pails meet requirements for product quality and performance. So, we welcome visitors at our stand to learn about their paint packaging needs and suggest appropriate solutions.”
Better shelf display with new dimensions
The broad classic range of plastic paint cans from Berry Superfos is mono-material (made of virgin PP) and thus can technically be recycled. A novelty presented at the tradeshow is a paint pail with new dimensions so that the narrow side corresponds to the diameter of several cylindrical metal paint cans currently on the market. This means improved facing on shop shelf displays by aligning two equal width dimensions for the cylindrical and rectangular shape.
Both the DIY painter and the professional painter will appreciate the benefit offered by the rectangular shape: you can roll the paint on a roller directly from the container and the new size still allows for this very practical advantage.
The lasting attraction of plastic paint cans
Plastic paint cans have so many advantages − let’s meet at Eurocoat and we will tell you all about them. For now, take note of a few benefits which the plastic paint can range from Berry Superfos offers you: user-friendly, robust, shock resistant, available in square, rectangular, round, cylindrical shapes, ranging from 400ml to 5.3 litres. Dry paint flakes can be prevented from falling into the paint with the FlakeFree® texture on pot and lid; you can have your containers beautifully decorated with a glossy finish or a metallic look and, at the same time, benefit from the enduring qualities of plastic. So do not hesitate – get in touch and let’s meet at Eurocoat.
