Since 1966, the indoor paint COFABRILL has been a firm favourite among French professional painters. The paint is easy to apply, renders great coverage and has a shiny texture. To mark the golden anniversary, paint company Zolpan decided to produce a limited edition of COFABRILL in a golden SuperLift Extra container from RPC Superfos as part of their 2016 marketing activities.
In-Mould labelling replaces offset decoration
The graphic design agency of Zolpan did a great job and created beautiful artwork comprising a background of golden waves, however the test result from the pail with offset decoration did not give the desired look. Then RPC Superfos suggested using the In-Mould labelling technique instead, where the Pantone colour system is replaced with metallic colours:
“We’re pleasantly surprised to see how well our anniversary pack in golden shades now looks thanks to the advanced In-Mould labelling technique applied by RPC Superfos. They’ve given us excellent advice and we’ve felt absolutely well guided throughout the project,” says Marion Masse, Communication Executive of Zolpan, and continues:
“The container looks magnificent and we really like the final result. It’s an appropriate way of celebrating our golden wedding anniversary with one of our most popular products.”
SuperLift Extra for water based paint
Zolpan belongs to the Cromology Group, and all its water based paint products are sold in plastic containers from RPC Superfos. The anniversary pail is a SuperLift Extra solution, 17.5 litres, featuring tamper evidence and a protective collar that safeguards the lid and prevents ovalisation of the container.
This spring in France, the paint COFABRILL in its golden outfit is just about to hit the shelves. Zolpan only sells its products through their own shops and outlets of which there are more than 150 today.
