Yogurt and sour cream from Prodlacta Brasov, a dairy producer based in Romania, are today sold in round UniPak pails with plastic handles. The packaging comes in two sizes ‒ 1.18 litres and 5 litres ‒ and is from RPC Superfos, a new supplier to Prodlacta Brasov.
High quality and timely delivery
Taking RPC Superfos on board as a second supplier has been a positive experience, according to Liliana Andriuc, Purchase Director of Prodlacta. She says:
“We keep our finger on the pulse and appreciate working with suppliers who meet our needs. We are clearly satisfied with RPC Superfos. The straightforwardness and our open discussions are valuable points in our business relationship. There was a small problem in the beginning, but it was quickly sorted out. In fact, RPC Superfos ticks all the boxes and we get packaging of high quality under sound commercial conditions and within the set delivery times.”
Prodlacta Brasov has now signed a three-year contract with RPC Superfos for the delivery of the UniPak pails. They are used for natural yogurt and sour cream with 12%, 15% or 20% milk fat. The dairy products reach both retailers and the foodservice industry.
UniPak is a popular solution
The UniPak range is one of the most extensive ones in Europe, as there is a wealth of shapes and sizes to choose from. It also keeps costs down: several pots match each lid diameter, so you only need to stock one versatile type of lid for a range of sizes. Tamper evidence and liquid tight snap-on lids are standard features.
The dairy products from Prodlacta Brasov are selling well in Romania and are also exported to Moldavia. And when the packaging is empty, both householders and commercial customers can benefit from its flexibility for other uses - multiple times over - because it is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
