In Norway, the organic dairy Rørosmeieriet now uses the sleek and innovative EasySnacking™ pot from RPC Superfos for a range of yogurt with muesli topping sold under the trademark Niste. The packaging solution is new on the Norwegian market.
Trond Vilhelm Lund, CEO at Rørosmeieriet, says:
“Opting for the EasySnacking™ pot brought Rørosmeieriet both novelty and branding value. The sleek and characteristic design of the pot ensures our products stand out on shelf and makes it easier for consumers to recognise our Niste yogurt. We are thrilled with the EasySnacking™ design as it supports our creative profile and allows us to take a lead in the market, even though we are not among the biggest players.”
Rørosmeieriet uses the EasySnacking™ pot for natural yogurt and for natural yogurt with a delicious lingonberry blend at the bottom. Both types of yogurt are healthy, fresh, mild and tasty and contain beneficial probiotics. The crunchy muesli with dried fruit is gluten free and conveniently placed in the lid. The packaging solution is handy and re-closable and comes with a spoon under a tear-off label in the lid. In this way, it is a perfect packaging match for a healthy and quick meal to be savoured on the go.
For organic sour cream, the organic dairy uses a version of the EasySnacking™ pot which comes with a flat lid (and no spoon).
Organic meets sustainable
While the EasySnacking™ pot is square, it features attractive smooth lines and round corners, leaving a soft impression. In addition to being highly convenient and user-friendly, the EasySnacking™ pot is a great solution for increased sustainability.
“We appreciate that the pots from RPC Superfos are 100% recyclable as they are made from nothing but PP (polypropylene); the best possible type of plastic which makes good sense for our organic products,” Trond Vilhelm Lund explains.
Many years solid business relationship
For many years, Rørosmeieriet has collaborated with RPC Superfos, and uses several of their packaging product lines. The business relationship is good and fruitful.
“Even though Rørosmeieriet is a small dairy and RPC Superfos is a large company, our collaboration works well. Rørosmeieriet is known for being one step ahead of the competition and using responsible and sustainable packaging solutions is and will be important for us in the future,” Trond Vilhelm Lund concludes.
