Though the positive aspects of plastic are numerous, Jørgen Bitsch points out that on a general level the challenge is to handle plastic correctly after use. Re-circulated plastic waste is a resource which is very high in demand and, importantly, our environment must be protected.

In this connection, Superfos Region Nordic contributes in several ways, including as an active player in the Danish innovation project ‘Forum for Circular Plastic Packaging’. Under the scope of the Forum, Superfos works to harmonise and streamline the sorting and collection of plastic waste.
