If you are looking for new ideas and designs for your packaging solutions, the Hispack trade fair at Fira Barcelona is the place to be from May 24 to May 27. Around 40,000 professionals will visit the four days of exhibitions and if you are among them, you will meet 600+ exhibitors from the entire packaging industry lifecycle, including Berry Superfos at the Berry stand no. C177 in Pabellón 2. At the same stand, you can also meet other Berry sites from Spain.
Packaging made with recycled materials
Please do stop by our stand to find out more about how we can help you to improve the sustainability and quality of your packaging solutions. For example, we offer several of our most popular non-food and industrial packaging series with PCR (post-consumer recycled material) made solely of one material polypropylene (PP) which makes recycling easy. By choosing solutions produced with PCR, you can even reduce the effects on your products of the new plastic tax that will come into force in Spain in January 2023.
As for food packaging, we also have new advanced recycling options available, including PP packaging made from recycled plastic or biobased material, for example frying oil waste, with the same quality as virgin material. This requires an ISCC PLUS certification which Berry Superfos’ facilities throughout Europe have already obtained. Please come to our stand at the exhibition and we will be happy to discuss this in detail with you.
Go lightweight to reduce your use of resources
In addition, you can experience lightweight packaging options at the Berry stand which offer inherent benefits to minimise the use of resources in the production and optimise transportation, logistics, and fuel consumption.
Food waste on your mind?
Another priority in your sustainability efforts may be to do your best to prevent food waste. If you are a food producer, you can strengthen this work by choosing freshness-preserving packaging from Berry Superfos. Particularly when you choose packaging which features our innovative oxygen barrier solution, you will be able to keep your oxygen-sensitive products fresh for longer.
