Meet us at CFIA Rennes 2021

Meet us at CFIA Rennes 2021

The most prominent agrifood trade fair in Europe, CFIA Rennes 2021, is planned for June 9–11. Berry Superfos looks forward to welcoming you at our stand to discuss new ideas for your food packaging solutions.

The CFIA Rennes fair – originally scheduled for 2020, but postponed due to the pandemic – is now planned for June 9 to 11, 2021, at the Parc Expo venue in Rennes in the north-western part of France.

Our dedicated Berry Superfos team looks forward to welcoming you in hall 10 stand G43. We have a range of convincing, convenient and contemporary plastic packaging options for food products on display. Our team is eager to help you make the right choice by taking your company’s specific packaging needs and sustainability efforts into account.

Breakthrough recycled packaging solution for food industry
Come by our stand and learn how Berry Superfos is now able to offer customers in the food industry circular packaging made from recycled plastic or biobased material. In the past, recycled material that was in direct contact with food products was unthinkable due to food safety and hygiene requirements, but thanks to breakthrough technology and leadership in innovation, Berry Superfos has made this a real option that will give you new opportunities.

Berry Superfos facilities throughout Europe hold the necessary ISCC Plus certification. However, please be aware that if you use the recycled material for your food product packaging, you are also required to have an ISCC Plus certification of your own covering your food production facility in order to make claims regarding the material.

Lightweight means optimised transportation
When you visit our stand, you also get to see the SuperLight™ pot range from Berry Superfos. This is a prime example of our plastic packaging solutions which present inherent benefits to minimise the use of resources: they are lightweight and optimise transportation, logistics and fuel consumption.

Our full range includes both injection moulded and thermoformed packaging solutions, ready-to-use or bespoke options. Using our pots for your dairy products can help you to work towards a more sustainable profile for your company.

“Plastic packaging delivers a strong performance on multiple parameters, and we look forward to discussing this with our visitors at CFIA Rennes,” says Laurent Morel, Sales Director, Berry Superfos Region South.

Introducing ‘the new black’ and other product news
At CFIA Rennes, Berry Superfos presents samples of a new non-carbon black plastic packaging suitable for food which is detectable during the waste sorting process. This means that after use the black pack can be sorted for recycling purposes. Read more about non-carbon black packaging here. Further, Berry Superfos displays the new generation of our RingLock® range, “Wave” – the small and nifty pot for snacks and sauces, now even better than before. In the SuperCube® Square range, there is a new lightweight version of the 200 x 200mm pail with a 3.2L volume. The new version is ideal for weak density products such as salads, popcorn and dairy products.

Oxygen barrier helps to reduce food waste
Plastic packaging solutions from Superfos contribute to reducing food waste. For oxygen sensitive food products such as pâté, dried fruits and soups, Berry Superfos has developed an innovative oxygen barrier solution applied, for instance, on the SuperLock® pot. It is an ideal packaging solution for oxygen sensitive food and comes with a convenient click-on screw lid. It keeps your food product fresh for longer thanks to very low oxygen transmission rates.

Take a closer look at SuperLight™, SuperLock® and many other innovative packaging options, thermoformed or injection moulded, at our stand G43 in hall 10. This year, we co-exhibit with Promens, a Berry Global company, and our distributor SEMAQ. See you soon!
