Irresistible Interpack 2017

A stunning RPC stand awaits you when you visit Interpack, Düsseldorf. Head for Hall 10 D 21 and immerse yourself in the exciting world of plastic packaging. Your visit will bring you up to date with innovative highlights from the entire RPC Group, including RPC Superfos.

Shortly, the Interpack trade fair will turn the German city of Düsseldorf into a key business hub for the packaging industry. Whether you are in the food or the non-food business, it will be worth your while to visit the impressive stand of the RPC Group, the largest plastic converter in Europe.

Regional Director Søren Rohleder, RPC Superfos Region Central Europe, and his team look forward to meeting you. He highlights the creative and technical excellence we offer you and suggests that you start tapping into our expertise during the trade fair:

“Interpack brings the opportunity to learn more about the potential of bespoke packaging for all those who want a new solution created specially to make a product stand out. by. Our customers can be creative with us; they can add an element of sophistication, they can create artwork in 3D and benefit from the RPC Superfos Innovation Center. We always set up highly experienced and dedicated project teams so that our customers get the best possible bespoke solution.”

Starring at the WorldStar Award Ceremony
At Interpack 2017, the bespoke solution Twist Cup with Screw Lid, co-created by RPC Superfos and RPC Promens, will receive its WorldStar Award 2017. Come to our stand to see this innovative packaging solution developed for a range of premium cold salads from Orkla Foods Norway. The pack successfully mixes two different resin materials and two different technologies to create a thermoformed cup with an injection moulded lid.

Considering conversion?
If you are considering a conversion project, you can seize the opportunity to meet our knowledgeable RPC Superfos team. We will be delighted to answer any questions about converting to plastic, be it from metal or from glass. Running a conversion project with RPC Superfos means you will receive 360◦ support from the very beginning until your product leaves your filling line, packaged in a smart plastic container.

“Plastic has many advantages. It is a safe material in professional kitchens and at home, as there is no risk of broken glass nor of harm when touching the rim of the container. Further, it is hassle-free to open and re-close a plastic container, plus its light weight makes it easy to handle. These are key benefits for the food industry,” Søren Rohleder points out.

Large containers also available with oxygen barrier
RPC Superfos is among the few plastic packaging providers offering oxygen barrier solutions for large containers. This means long shelf life under ambient temperatures for soups, sauces, salads etc. as well as safety and convenience at work for kitchen staff.

Spoilt for choice
When at Interpack, do check out our clever TWP (thin wall packaging) SuperLight™ pot and our many on-the-go solutions with a spoon in the lid. Also, bear in mind that you can profit from a strong noticeable family brand image for your food products, particularly when you combine the popular versatile ready-to-use UniPak with the SuperLift® range. It is widely considered Europe’s biggest packaging family, spanning volumes from 120 ml to 22 litres.

New size in the UN series and popular paint cans
A new size for safely transporting special solids and liquids will be showcased at Interpack. Søren Rohleder explains:

“We bring a new SuperSafe pail to the trade fair - a 5 litre size meeting the strict United Nations (UN) requirements – it is a smaller version of the 22 litre container which the chemical industry recently has put into use. We have had a number of enquiries in respect of this size and are pleased to showcase it now.”

As for paint, you can touch and feel samples of the multi award-winning Paintainer® pail which is easily opened and re-closed without the use of any tool. It is available with the FlakeFree® texture on the lid avoiding dry flakes of paint falling into the can.

Sustainability and re-use on display
Various pails for paint will be on display at our special Sustainability Section at our stand where you can get inspiration for sustainable packaging. You will find containers made of post-consumer recycled material (PCR), of plant based material, and some produced according to the co-injection method. All pails from RPC Superfos can be re-used for a more sustainable footprint. Please do not hesitate to ask for more information – we look forward to any questions you may have.

Besides representatives of RPC Superfos, you have the chance to meet various teams of RPC bpi, RPC Bramlage, RPC Promens, RPC Ace and RPC Bebo during Interpack, running from 4 to 10 May 2017. We welcome you at Hall 10, stand D21.
